Upis Alpacas
Description:
The Upis marshlands at the foot of the Ausangate mountains in Peru. In the foreground is the flat brownish-green plain of the marshes. In the distance, at the foot of the mountain range, a herd of alpacas is grazing in the marshlands. Beyond the alpacas, the Ausangate mountains, rocky, steep, and covered with snow, rise into the mist at the top of the photo.
