Description:
A strange and beautiful Zebra Lionfish, seen from directly to the side, taken at Underwater World in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia. The brown and tan stripes along the side of the fish's body can be clearly seen in this photo, as can the feathery tail and rear dorsal fins. The side fins also resemble feathers, such as are found near the tip of a hawk's wing. The eye and face of the fish are also clearly visible, seen in profile.
