Description:
A humpback whale rolling upside down after surfacing, taken off the coast of Queensland, Australia. The whale is almost entirely underwater except for a small patch of its belly and the tips of its tail fins, but the whole body can be seen through the clear water, fins spread, white underside facing the sky as the whale arches back down into the water. Below, the shadowy form of another whale rising toward the surface can just barely be seen in the depths.
