At Jughandle Beach near Fort Bragg California, a wave breaking over a partially-submerged rock, sending up a spray of foam and whitewater. Behind the rock is the rocky slope of a low cliff, the top of which is covered in grass. At the bottom of the photo in the foreground, the choppy dark blue water swells with a small wave.
