Description:
Three turtles sunbathing on partly submerged logs in a pond in the Rio Grande nature preserve in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The turtle in the center is facing directly toward the camera, whereas the other two turtles are facing sideways and are only partly visible at the edges of the photo. The trees on the bank are reflected in the water of the pond, giving it a green appearance.
