Description:
Similar to a yellow jacket, this insect has pale green and black stripes. Seen from above on a cluster of white flowers. The stripes on the abdomen can be seen through the transparent wings. The thorax is solid black, and covered with fine light brown fur. The insect has bright green eyes, clearly visible in this photo, and bright yellow legs. Near Fort Bragg California.
