Description:
A leopard ray, also called a leopard whipray or sting ray, seen from the side towards the front, photographed at Underwater World in Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia. The upper surface of this ray is covered with spots very similar to those of a leopard. Only the front upper part of the ray is shown in this photo, with the eyes and gill intakes clearly visible, but the tail not in the shot.
