Description:
A large black lizard in proflie, sitting on a rock with head raised, in Death Valley California. Sitting with its fat belly on the ridge atop a large rock, this lizard has wrinkled black sides with tiny tan spots. Seen in bright sunlight, the iris of the eye facing the camera is clearly visible. It has broad jaws with puffy jowels, covered in sharp pointed scales.
