Welcome to our gallery of bird photos. We have a great selection of pelican pics, taken on the beaches of Queensland australia. The Australian pelicans are larger than their North-American counterparts, the largest of these pelicans we photographed stood at least three feet tall. In one photo, we even caught this huge pelican eating a fish! We have several pictures of these giant sea birds standing next to the ocean, swimming or wading in the water, and one perched on a light post.

We also have a number of seagull pics mostly taken on the beach around Fort Bragg California, and near Los Angeles. These common black and white gulls throng the beaches in California, scavenging scraps of food from among the detritus washed up by the waves.

In our misc. birds section, we have a variety of other birds including brilliantly colorful flamingoes and peacocks photographed at the Albuquerque zoo, geese and wild turkeys from around Fort Bragg, several ducks, two herons, an emu from the Australia zoo, and an unusual frog-mouthed owl from Australia, as well as some other random birds.

All of these bird pictures are made available under an open license, allowing you to use them however you wish provided you give us credit in some way. You are welcome to use them as wallpaper, desktop pictures, and screensavers, and they can also be used for commercial purposes and in graphics design.
