Description:

A solitary Australian White Ibis (Threskiornis molucca) seen running in the grass at a The Ginger Factory in Queensland, Australia. This black and white wading bird with a long curved beak is normally found in large flocks along the Gold Coast and most of Australia's western shore.  Also known as a Sheep bird, it frequents wet marshland and open grassy areas, but ha been increasingly present in urban areas such as Sydney and Brisbane.
